As the final international break of the year has come to an end, Milan are now preparing for what will be a very demanding month with many games. Between now and the Christmas break, they will play nine games.
In other words, there won’t be a lot of rest for Stefano Pioli’s side, who will have to rely on their depth and recovery measures to get through this with good results. Currently in first place, they want to stay there for as long as possible.
In addition to the league, Milan are also participating in Europa League and they will conclude the group phase in this period. We can only hope that the Rossoneri have a good plan in mind to deal with the tight schedule.
That being said, it worked well this summer (two games per week) and the feeling is that they will handle it now as well. Bar the games against Napoli and Celtic, the schedule is looking pretty good for the Rossoneri.
