Both Simon Kjaer and Mike Maignan continued their respective recovery training programmes on Wednesday as they seek to be fit for the match against Monza next weekend, a report claims.
As has been reported by Milan News both Kjaer and Maignan continued to make good progress towards their returns and they are aiming for the October 22 match against Monza.
Failing that, the aim will become the Champions League match against Dinamo Zagreb the week after the Monza match.
They have got set programmes that they need to follow in order to recover as soon as possible. Stefano Pioli will be desperate to have Kjaer back for the Champions League match as Fikayo Tomori will be suspended for that clash.
He was shown a straight red card in the match against Chelsea on Tuesday night so he will be unavailable. That does mean he is almost certain to start the next two Serie A games.
