AC Milan are looking to avoid getting stung as they have in the past by solving three renewals by the end of the year, a report claims.
As reported this morning by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), the Rossoneri want to act ahead of time just like they did with Davide Calabria and more recently Alexis Saelemaekers and Simon Kjaer to avoid a similar situation to the Gianluigi Donnarumma and Hakan Calhanoglu sagas.
That is why there are three renewals on the agenda at the moment concerning three pillars of the club’s project, namely Theo Hernandez, Ismael Bennacer and Rafael Leao. All three are due under contract until 2024 so there is plenty of time to find an agreement, but at Casa Milan they want to try solve things ahead of time.
The target for Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara is to renew the contracts of the three players in question by the end of the 2021 calendar year, so everyone can rest easy.
