CM: Full-back ranks restored as Milan trio recover for Sassuolo game

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are getting close to a clean bill of health again as three players will return to selection contention for Sunday’s game against Sassuolo, a report claims.

Calciomercato.com report that left-back Fodé Ballo-Touré returned to training with the rest of the squad yesterday having recovered from his shoulder surgery, and they were joined by Theo Hernandez and Davide Calabria who have both disposed of their problems.

All three full-backs trained with the group and therefore have recovered in time for the game against Sassuolo on Sunday, The Frenchman has resolved the muscle fatigue that had forced him to miss the away match against Lazio, while the Rossoneri captain recovered from the severe contusion to his right calf sustained in the final moments of the match against the Biancocelesti.

That means there are only three players still out with injuries in Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Mike Maignan and Alessandro Florenzi, who should be back in February.
