MilanTV: Piatek sets new AC Milan record

By Isak Möller -

Krzysztof Piatek was once again the main man as AC Milan came away with all three points, this time against Atalanta away from home. The Polish International bagged a brace, setting a new club record.

As revealed by MilanTV after the game, Piatek is the quickest Rossoneri player to reach six goals for the club, having managed to do so within the first 310 minutes. In addition to this, he’s just had 18 attempts in the red and black shirt, proving just how lethal he is.

The previous record was held by Milan’s all-time top goalscorer, Gunnar Nordahl, who took 410 minutes to reach his first six goals with the club. In other words, Piatek is certainly living up to his €35m price tag thus far.
