MN: €40m could be enough as Milan set sights on Real Madrid striker

By Isak Möller -

After many rumours about Arkadiusz Milik, Luka Jovic now seems to be the more likely hypothesis as Milan look to revive their attack, with or without Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The Real Madrid man, in fact, is a concrete target.

The young striker, after just one season with the Bernabeu side (15 appearances in La Liga, just 4 from start), is ready for a new adventure that can revive him. The Spanish side spent €60m and are unlikely to get their investment back, per MilanNews.it.

Due to the Coronavirus, and Jovic’s performances this season, the price has dropped and a sale is now practically obvious. €40m could be enough to convince Real Madrid but a potential obstacle is the salary, as the Serbian earns €7m per year.

Last summer, Milan operated in a similar way by signing Theo Hernandez for just €20m from the Spanish side. Jovic certainly has more baggage but he’s still available at a reasonable price, considering his talent.
