MN: Ibrahimovic expected to be ready for Serie A opener after knee surgery

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has undergone surgery on his knee after the conservative therapy didn’t have the desired result. Certainly not ideal for a 39-year-old, but the striker should be back in time for next season.

As reported by MilanNews, following the arthroscopic surgery on his left knee today, Ibrahimovic should have just enough time to be back for the Serie A opener. In other words, he should be back in full swing in mid-August.

The start of the season is scheduled for the 22nd of August and thus Milan are confident that they will have their star back. Worst-case scenario, Ibrahimovic could sit out the first rounds and then return.

As we know, the Swede has a great mentality and will for sure be ready for this new challenge. We can only hope that the recovery will go as expected and that he will stay fit for next season.
