MN: Ibrahimovic will remain in Italy and continue his recovery at Milanello

By Isak Möller -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is recovering from his muscle injury, sustained during training last week. However, although the next tests will take place in ten days, the Swede will remain in Italy rather than flying to Sweden.

During the Coronavirus lockdown in Italy, the 38-year-old spent his time in Sweden along with his family, training with local side Hammarby. And last week, when the injury was a fact, he returned to Stockholm once again for a few days.

As revealed by AC Milan, the result of today’s medical check at the Columbus clinic was positive, as Ibrahimovic’s recovery is proceeding well. According to MilanNews.it, though, the striker will remain in Italy to continue his recovery.

He will stay at the training ground, Milanello, where he will receive treatment and carry out personalized training. If the results of the upcoming tests are positive as well, then Ibrahimovic will be partially reintegrated into the group.
