Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s future with AC Milan is yet to be decided. His contract will expire at the end of the season and although he has been crucial since his arrival, it remains to be seen if he will stay.
According to Radio Rossonera’s Pietro Balzano Prota, speaking live on his Twitch last night (via @SightsMilan on Twitter), the scheduled meeting between Ibrahimovic and CEO Ivan Gazidis hasn’t taken place yet.
Should Milan decide to renew the contract, reaching an agreement with the Swede and Mino Raiola, then they will sign a young striker this summer. However, in the event of a departure, they will also add an important name to the attack.
In the meantime, Ibrahimovic is recovering from his muscle injury. As announced by AC Milan this afternoon, the recovery is proceeding well and the 38-year-old will have further tests in ten days to determine when he can return.
