Theo Hernandez renewed his contract with AC Milan yesterday and it appears that he’s just the first of many. In fact, the Rossoneri have been working hard on some key renewals in the last few weeks.
The feeling among the Milan fans is that the renewal of Hernandez can have a positive domino effect, given the important signal it sent. According to MilanNews, the two players that are next in line are Ismael Bennacer and Rafael Leao.
Talks have been ongoing with the agents of Bennacer and Leao for quite some time now and it seems an agreement is close for both players. As for the Algerian, a deal is very close at around €3.5m per year instead of the current €1.5m.
For Leao, Milan are getting closer to an agreement in the talks with Jorge Mendes and the new salary of the winger should be around €5m per year (including bonuses). Getting these renewals done as well would be a huge boost for the club.
