MN: Milan sold 10k tickets today for the Coppa Italia derby against Inter

By Isak Möller -

After failing to beat AC Milan in the two leagues games of the season, Inter will get another chance to beat their city rivals as the two will face-off in the Coppa Italia. A semi-final that will be played over two legs.

The Rossoneri managed to win the last Derby Della Madonnina as Olivier Giroud scored a quick brace, completing a stunning turnaround. And since the first leg ended 1-1, Milano is currently red and black indeed.

Although it doesn’t hold as much significance, the Coppa Italia semi-final should be another interesting battle between the sides. Winning the derby always gives you confidence, no matter the competition, which could be of value in the Scudetto race.

According to MilanNews, Milan sold 10k tickets today for the derby, which will be played on March 1. The demand was so high earlier in the week (first sale phases) that the Rossoneri were forced to pause the AIMC clubs around the world, also because of the Covid-19 stadium cap.
