MN: Milan begin talks with agent in bid to beat Newcastle and Arsenal to €60m forward

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have begun talks with the agent of Luka Jovic over the possibility of a move to San Siro in the upcoming window, a report claims.

Doubts over the future of Zlatan Ibrahimovic means that Milan have been forced to probe the ground regarding a number of potential replacements, with Jovic being one of them.

SportMediaset reported on Saturday that Milan are ready to bid €35m+ for the former Benfica man, an amount which may be enough, however, it has also been reported that Arsenal are in the running to land the 22-year-old, as well as Newcastle.

According to the latest from MilanNews, Milan have opened a dialogue with Jovic’s representative Fali Ramadani to understand the situation regarding his client.

Real Madrid would be willing to let him leave but the formula must be discussed, because Los Blancos would like to keep control over the player, so therefore a loan is suggested.

Relations with Milan are good after the Theo Hernandez deal, which has satisfied both sides. Jovic’s salary is high, and it will be up to Ramadani to combine the right solution to fit the pieces of the puzzle.
