MN: Milan consider duo to be untouchable despite interest from PSG – UCL a favourable factor

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have no intention of selling the most valuable members of the squad despite some interest from abroad, a report claims.

MilanNews writes how securing a return to the Champions League after several very complicated years has put Milan in an advantageous position compared to the last few seasons, because the project has taken a favourable turn and being able to offer UCL football is an attractive proposition.

While Gianluigi Donnarumma and Hakan Calhanoglu made different personal choices and their contracts were expiring, Milan do not want to sell players like Theo Hernandez and Franck Kessie, two players that many European clubs admire.

For Hernandez, despite the appreciation of PSG, Milan do not even want to negotiate because they consider him ‘untouchable’. For the Ivorian midfielder talks are expected over his renewal in the coming weeks. Maldini, Gazidis and Massara’s target is to secure him with a long contract renewal, increasing his salary in proportion with his performances.

  1. Absolutely untouchable! Identify your core players and put pieces around them.. thats how you become a winning club!

  2. Excellent tactics, all the best performers should be untouchable just increase their pay and tie them up for like 6 years with 1 automatic year, thus if you are still good and don’t want to renew then they activate the one year then sell you.
