MN: Milan looking to sell four players and raise funds but there is an obstacle

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are looking at selling four players to raise funds to welcome more signings in the mercato, according to a report.

According to MilanNews, the management are not only working on potential new signings to give Stefano Pioli a more complete squad ahead of the new Serie A season, but they are also looking to find new clubs for those not in the project.

The report mentions that it is clear that Jens Petter Hauge has to leave Milanello to find space as the two friendlies against Pro Sesto and Modena showed that he is lacking a bit in confidence as he did not display great performances.

In addition to the Norwegian winger, Samu Castillejo could also leave the club amid strong links with a return to Spain, while defensive duo Mattia Caldara and Andrea Conti are the other names expected to be sold. However, there is a difficulty: being able to monetise from their sales.
