AC Milan face a difficult situation regarding the renewal of Hakan Calhanoglu compared to that of Gianluigi Donnarumma, a report claims.
Milan have been left with a situation where three of their key players have deals which expire next June in Donnarumma, Calhanoglu and Ibrahimovic.
According to Andrea Longoni’s latest for MilanNews, the economic demands of Calhanoglu’s agent Gordon Stipic certainly complicates everything, as does the timeframe the club are working under.
Stipic is asking for more than double the current €2.5million net per season which is anachronistic in relation to the economic crisis that football is going through as there have been huge losses in revenue without fans.
Longoni adds that Stipic has offered his client to Juventus and to Inter in what is likely a move to put pressure on Milan, but all the while Calhanoglu’s performances have only been good for the last few months, so therefore the actions of the agent risk alienating the Milan management and fans.
Milan though should have tackled the issue much sooner and the same goes for the renewal of Donnarumma, but there should not be problems regarding his extension or indeed that of Ibrahimovic.
