Hakan Calhanoglu’s contract will expire at the end of the month and he’s yet to make a decision on the renewal offer Milan have proposed. However, it seems that a departure is likely for the Turkish international.
According to MilanNews, the future of the No.10 is very uncertain and above all, could be far away from Milan. The latter presented an offer worth €4m per year several months ago, but it was deemed unsatisfactory.
In recent days, the player and the agent re-started talks with the club, but Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara won’t improve their offer. Therefore, the feeling is that Calhanoglu will leave the Rossoneri at the end of this month.
As with Gigio Donnarumma, it’s a shame to lose such a good player for free. On the other hand, it wouldn’t be ideal for Milan to have very high salaries on their wage bill, especially in these times.

Awful player management. Even selling him for 15m is better than walking fkr free. I don’t want him here but the management left probably 80+ mil on the table between him and gigio. There’s no excuse

You can see now, no other club willing to accept gigio in this kind pandemic situation considering his big salary also because all top club already have their own best person in that position, and for calha, the other club interest to him only because he is a free agent, if we keep extend both players it would become financial drain for Milan, so there are no guarantee they will be sold with worth value in the future.
Other clubs are not paying more than milan simply because this man can only play AM. He takes a long time to settle in. He seldom excels in big matches. Market worth is only $10M and salary $1-2M at the most. Milan has infact over offered a salary of $4M.
Besides his limited footballing abilities, this guy has a shit personality, making him absolutely unwanted anywhere around here.
