MN: Nine players could end up leaving Milan this summer – the latest on each

AC Milan are working on exits as well as potential signings this summer, and there are a number of players that have their bags packed.

MilanNews have provided a round-up of the players who are currently likely to leave the club during the summer transfer window, which would free up spaces, wages and potential funds for incomings.

Leo Duarte: He has been bought permanently by Istanbul Basaksheir after a year and a half on loan there for €2m plus 40% of the proceeds of a potential future resale.

Mattia Caldara: He has returned after his loan to Venezia. The former Atalanta man is not part of the Rossoneri plans and could end up at Spezia, with wom the first contacts have already been made.

Matteo Gabbia: The player is attracting interest from Marco Giampaolo’s Sampdoria but he could remain with the Rossoneri if the centre-back department needs numbers.

Fode Ballo-Touré: The full-back also remains in the balance. He made just 12 appearances and is firmly behind Theo Hernandez but performed below expectations.

Tiemoué Bakayoko: The Frenchman seems destined to leave Italy prematurely, given that his two-year loan from Chelsea could be terminated early. Marseille have recently shown an interest.

Lorenzo Colombo: The striker has left on loan once again after his experiences in Serie B with Cremonese and SPAL. He has officially become a new Lecce player, with whom he will certainly have the opportunity to try Serie A.

Daniel Maldini: Hellas Verona are pressing strongly and the Rossoneri management are negotiating with them on the basis of a loan with option to buy plus a buy-back. The plan is for him to obtain game time and find the right consistency.

Marco Nasti: He is very close to joining Cosenza on loan, although there are also Ascoli and Perugia in the running. The negotiation between the Calabriansside and Milan is now well underway.

Samu Castillejo: The Spaniard remains at the exit door given the little use and the fact his contract is expiring next summer. He would like to return to Spain while Milan are waiting for the best offer.
