AC Milan will take on Napoli this Sunday and Stefano Pioli has pretty good idea of how the starting XI should look. After initially struggling with three selection battles, the manager is now down to one.
Sunday’s clash will be the first of three in 16 days between the two sides and it will thus be an important one. It could very well set the tone for the Champions League tie, which means a lot to both teams.
According to MilanNews, Pioli has decided to field Simon Kjaer from start in the defence and Davide Calabria will also return. Rade Krunic impressed during the international break and will thus be the No.10 for this clash, making for a more balanced team.
The only selection doubt that remains is on the right-wing, with Alexis Saelemaekers and Brahim Diaz both wanting a starting spot. The Spaniard is the favourite as things stand, but the Belgian is not completely out of the race just yet.
Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Calabria, Kjaer, Tomori, Theo Hernandez; Tonali, Bennacer; Diaz/Saelemaekers, Krunic, Leao; Giroud.
Maldini/maldommy is the root of Milans problems
True problem is Cardinale 30% , Pioli 55% Maldini 15%.
