MN: Optimism filters as Milan have clear plan for star midfielder – the initial figures

By Isak Möller -

Milan are currently focused on renewing the players that will expire in the summer, but they haven’t forgotten about those who have one year left. In fact, negotiations have already started on that front.

Of course, the Rossoneri want to avoid the situations that they currently face, as renewing a players contract with just a few months left of the deadline is very tough. One of the players they are working on, therefore, is Franck Kessie.

According to MilanNews, they recently met with the player’s entourage and although there is economic distance, optimism is filtering from the club. Unlike the Donnarumma situation, for example, they have a good amount of time.

Kessie has put forward a request of €4.5m per year while the Rossoneri have reached €3m thus far. In the next few meetings, the club will be able to improve the offer and perhaps get the midfielder down as well.
