MN: Pioli just needs to decide Milan’s No.10 vs. Bologna – rest is confirmed

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan will face Bologna in the 31st round of Serie A tomorrow evening and it will be a very important game for them. Stefano Pioli has more or less decided the XI as just one battle remains, a report claims.

Napoli won earlier today and that means the Rossoneri need to win as well. The Partenopei are currently ahead of goal difference and losing first place now, amid all the enthusiasm, would be a big blow.

According to MilanNews, Pioli should field the expected XI tomorrow but the No.10 role is yet to be decided. Franck Kessie has done well there lately but Brahim Diaz is eager to show his qualities and also got to ‘rest’ during the international break.

The Spaniard is currently slightly ahead, per the report, and it remains to be seen what decision Pioli will make. It seems Ante Rebic won’t get to start despite yesterday’s reports, once again set for the bench.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Calabria, Kalulu, Tomori, Theo Hernandez; Bennacer, Tonali; Messias, Diaz, Leao; Giroud.

  1. Put Rebic there ,he has played the 10 when he was with Eintracht, Diaz gets pushed off the ball too easily that is why he is not in La Liga, Kessie better choice but he is better on defense with Tonali in the double pivot….we go thru this bs every week. And Leao better quick dragging his yang yang when he loses the ball with no mopin around. Forza Rossoneri.
