MN: Rebic and Origi still not training with the squad ahead of Empoli game

By Oliver Fisher -

The latest report on the condition of various AC Milan players has arrived from Milanello, with the return to league action just two days away.

MilanNews writes that it was a morning training session for Milan today in view of Saturday night’s match against Empoli at the Stadio Carlo Castellani, in which the Rossoneri will look to avenge their 2-1 defeat against Napoli prior to the international break.

Sandro Tonali and Davide Calabria worked with the squad and therefore have fully recovered and could also take the field from the first minute depending on the choices of Stefano Pioli.

Regarding the forward duo Ante Rebic and Divock Origi, both did individual training, with the Croatian also doing some exercises on the field suggesting that he is further ahead in the recovery process, but there was no indication about whether either have a chance of making the trip to Tuscany.
