MN: Relaxed workout for Milan after Juventus game – the latest on Kjaer and Ibrahimovic

By Oliver Fisher -

Last night was not the way that AC Milan wanted their unbeaten run to end as they lost 3-1 to Juventus at San Siro.

The Rossoneri saw their unbeaten run in Serie A ended at 27 games by the champions as Federico Chiesa’s brace and Weston McKennie’s goal off the bench saw Juve run out 3-1 winners at San Siro, rendering Davide Calabria’s fantastic equaliser a mere flash in the pan on a difficult night for a team decimated by suspension problems.

As MilanNews reports, after the match against Juventus, Simon Kjaer and the rest of the team underwent a relaxing workout and there is no injury problem for the Danish defender despite the fact he was taken off before the end of the match.

Meanwhile, striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic – who is believed to be closing in on a return to action – still worked separately which means the chances of him featuring on Saturday night appear to be very slim.

Anto Vitiello also adds that Alexis Saelemaekers and Ismael Bennacer both worked individually too, suggesting they are unlikely to feature on Saturday.
