MN: Seven exits and three signings – Milan preparing for a busy August

AC Milan have had the busiest transfer window of any Italian club so far and it promises to be a frantic August too, at least in the minds of the management.

MilanNews writes how Yunus Musah will soon be announced as signing number eight as he is currently undergoing his medical ahead of a €20m move from Valencia, including bonuses.

Now, the priority of the management is to think out the squad and there are seven players up for sale: Mattia Caldara, Fodé Ballo-Touré, Yacine Adli, Charles De Ketelaere, Junior Messias, Divock Origi and Marko Lazetic.

If offers should also arrive for some others (excluding star players) they will obviously be evaluated, but at the moment Milan are working to find a new accommodation for these seven players.

The closest to saying goodbye is De Ketelaere, for whom Milan has already reached an agreement with Atalanta over a €3m loan with a €23m option to buy. The green light of the Belgian is awaited, which could arrive in the next few hours.

For Caldara there is Besiktas, while Ballo-Touré is wanted by Bologna and Werder Bremen. Messias is still being sought by Torino and, Aldi is instead in the sights of Salernitana and Ajax, while Origiit has offers from Saudi Arabia and the Premier League .

Milan hope to be able to close all these exits between now and the end of the window while also thinking of some more reinforcements to shore up the squad, namely a left-back, a central defender and a midfielder.
