AC Milan managed to get the job done against Hellas Verona as they came from two goals down to win 3-2, but they lost another player in the process.
According to MilanNews, Ante Rebic sustained a very painful ankle sprain during the first half of the game that could prevent him from playing in the Champions League game away at Porto. However, Tiemoue Bakayoko has now fully recovered from his calf problem and should soon be back in the fold.
Mike Maignan underwent surgery on Wednesday due to a ligament injury in his left wrist so he will be out for about 10 weeks, while Alessandro Plizzari is recovering from surgery he had earlier in the season and should also miss a couple of months longer yet.
Alessandro Florenzi and Junior Messias are both on the sidelines after surgery and a muscle problem respectively, with both expected to be out for another month or so.
Theo Hernandez and Brahim Diaz are also out after they tested positive for Covid-19. The duo will miss the game in Porto could miss the away match against Bologna plus even the home match against Torino.
