The market is far from over for AC Milan. The Rossoneri management is still working on several deals ahead of the closing, looking to offload a few players.
To date, only a single piece is missing to complete the squad, or at least on a numerical level: the second striker that will be paired with Piatek in Giampaolo’s 4-3-1-2 formation.
The goal for the position remains Angel Correa, but after Andre Silva’s move to Monaco broke down recently, the negotiations have become even tougher for the Rossoneri, as reported by MilanNews.it.
With the sale of the Portuguese striker, or if Suso leaves, then Milan could make a move for the Argentine without any issues, especially if an additional €10m arrives from the sale of Laxalt.
For the time being, however, the negotiations are yet to unlock. Furthermore, the Premier League transfer window has closed, which means that Andre Silva won’t join Wolves.
