AC Milan are looking to secure the renewals of three key players in the coming weeks and months, and SportMediaset have provided an update on each situation.
The broadcaster (via MilanNews) starts by looking at Theo Hernandez, whose contract runs until 2024 and whose desire is to stay at Milan because he is happy and feels like a valued part of the project. The Frenchman’s request for a €4m net per season salary coincides with the Rossoneri’s offers, implying there should be no problems..
Ismael Bennacer’s contract is also due to expire in two and a half years and he would like to double his current pay from €1.5m to €3m net per season, but for now the Milan management are only offering €2.5m, but there is a minimal distance therefore.
Finally there is Rafael Leao whose contract runs for the same duration as the aforementioned duo. The Portuguese winger earns €2m per year and he wants double that to extend, leaving Milan to reflect with no mention of an offer made.
