MN: Thiaw trains with Milan squad for the first time but Rebic and Origi work alone

There is still doubt about whether Stefano Pioli will have two forwards at his disposal for the derby against Inter on Saturday, a report claims.

According to what is being reported by MilanNews, Ante Rebic and Divock Origi carried out individual training sessions today at Milanello as preparations got underway for the first Derby della Madonnina of the season this weekend.

Tomorrow there will be a better indication as to whether Croatian and the Belgian will be able to make it for the derby, as neither were available for the 0-0 draw against Sassuolo at the Mapei Stadium last night.

Meanwhile, Malick Thiaw – the latest signing – took part in training today with the rest of his team-mates for the first time. This means that the German defender will be available to Stefano Pioli for Saturday’s derby against Inter and should make the matchday squad, despite having only arrived from Schalke earlier this week.
