MN: Update on condition of Milan duo ahead of Chelsea and Juventus games

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli should welcome Divock Origi back into the squad for the game against Chelsea on Wednesday night, a report claims.

According to what Pietro Mazzara of MilanNews is reporting, Origi was finally able to return to training with the rest of his team-mates at Milanello today as preparations for the Champions League group stage match against Chelsea continued.

The Belgian striker – who had undergone therapy to solve his muscle problem during the break – seems to have resolved the problem and will be in the squad for Wednesday’s match against Stamford Bridge.

On the other hand, Theo Hernandez trained on his own and therefore it is virtually certain that Saturday night’s hero Fode Ballo-Toure will start in his place. However, it is hoped that he will be back in time for Saturday evening’s game against Juventus at San Siro in Serie A.

  1. Cant wait to see the news about Origi after the game against Chelsea saying the injured again after playing a couple of minutes this guy is pure garbage!

  2. Look at Origi’s physique, specifically at his waistline and you will understand why he is always unfit to play. For a non-athletic person who is overweight they are already prone to hurting themselves doing daily activities. This guy is a professional footballer and also so overweight that his waistline is making a muffin top. Imagine running and sprinting around with such extra weight to carry, I feel bad for his joints and muscles. His injuries are always “muscle fatigue”, and that is very understandable. Even Ronaldo phenomenon lost his form after putting on extra weight, who does Origi think he is?
