MN: Updates on five of AC Milan’s injured players – Saelemaekers the latest to suffer a knock

By Oliver Fisher -

The injury bug appears to have hit AC Milan once again as Alexis Saelemaekers has become the latest to suffer a physical problem, a report claims.

After Hakan Calhanoglu was ruled out of the game due to a muscle problem, centre-backs Mateo Musacchio and Simon Kjaer both sustained injuries against Torino.

MilanNews have provided an update on all problems for the Rossoneri squad with Saturday’s important trip to Fiorentina on the horizon.

Kjaer –  An MRI scan confirmed the presence of a low grade muscle injury of the left thigh.

Calhanoglu, Musacchio and Biglia – The three players carried out individual work on the field.

Saelemaekers –  The Rossoneri number 56 reported contusive sprain trauma of his left ankle, with further investigations to be carried out tomorrow.

This of course means that Matteo Gabbia could be in line for a start in Florence, having made his Serie A debut for the Rossoneri on Monday night.
