MN: West Ham make enquiry for AC Milan midfielder; price tag set

By Isak Möller -

After a slow start to the season, Franck Kessie could leave AC Milan in January, as the Rossoneri are looking to make some room for new arrivals. More than one Premier League team is interested in him, according to a report.

West Ham have made an enquiry for the Ivorian midfielder, according to MilanNews.it, providing some competition for the league rivals Wolves. The latter tried to sign Kessie already in the summer and are expected to try once again in January.

As the report continues, the Hammers could do the same, deciding to invest in the 22-year-old. Milan would be willing to let him go for around €20-25m, given that their relationship with the player has broken down.

This past weekend, Kessie came off the bench against Napoli but didn’t exactly impress the Rossoneri fans. He is falling further down the pecking order, and a departure now seems more likely than ever.
