Franck Kessie has returned from the Olympics but will have to wait for his Milan return, having sustained a minor muscle injury. It will, however, give him more time to focus on the renewal with the Rossoneri.
Earlier today, the midfielder was at Casa Milan (see the video here) for a meeting with the Milan management and his agent. Although many thought he had signed the renewal with the Rossoneri, that wasn’t exactly the case.
According to Anto Vitiello, the parties spoke about various topics during the meeting: the injury, the experience at the Olympics and, of course, the renewal. The will is to continue together and an agreement is in sight.

In the meantime, Milan are preparing for what will be their final pre-season friendly, taking on Panathinaikos tomorrow in Trieste. It will be an important test for Stefano Pioli’s men, who need to increase the goalscoring.
