Brahim Diaz was one of the key players for AC Milan at the end of last season and at the start of this one. However, since then, he has struggled big time and will now be looking for another finale boost.
The Spaniard had an average first season with the club but perhaps what sealed another loan spell was his ending to the 2020/21 season. As MilanNews highlight, he was a key player for Stefano Pioli for the final games and convinced the management.
He scored away at Juventus and bagged one goal and an assist against Torino just a few days later. This was the beginning of his ‘season finale boost’ and ultimately it’s what convinced the Rossoneri to sit down with Real Madrid once again.
One year on, Diaz must get another performance boost and it’s safe to say that Milan could use it as well. They have struggled quality-wise in the final third and an improvement from the No.10 could make a huge difference, given that we all know what he’s capable of on a good day.
