Ahead of the game between AC Milan and Hellas Verona, which the former really need to win, Yunus Musah spoke to the media. He admitted that a lot of people have asked about his role in the team lately.
Musah is starting to the right in what is a 4-2-3-1/4-4-2 formation for Milan tonight, with Sergio Conceicao making quite a few changes. Safe to say, the American has been used in many positions this season and understandably so, there have been questions about his role.
Speaking to DAZN ahead of tonight’s game, as cited by MilanNews, Musah said that Milan have left the Feyenoord misstep behind. He also highlighted that his job is to help the team, regardless of which position he’s doing it in.
What is the approach, following the Feyenoord defeat?
“The Champions League game is over. Today we need to get three points to move up the standings.”
What is your role in the team?
“A lot of people ask me this question. In the end, I’m on the pitch to help the team both by attacking with my speed and in defence by covering the full-backs, I can help in many situations.”
Have you become more tactical in Italy?
“I was lucky to have good coaches who helped me with the tactics.”
Lazio managed to snatch a point from their game against Napoli earlier today, meaning the pressure is on the Rossoneri to claim all three tonight. As things stand, they are eight points behind the Biancocelesti and that is far from good enough.
LMAO 🤣🤣🤣 ends the debate by not specifying his position
Yes mate, the most important thing is being on the pitch. Not sent off or suspended. Hopefully that lesson is learned since Zagreb. And I think it is, intelligent guy I look forward to seeing more of…. hopefully in CM.
He is a very intelligent guy off the pitch, he speaks a bunch of languages fluently… But on the pitch is a different matter unfortunately
Musah got nothing in his head when it comes to attacking
I beg he stick to defending
In fact why is the coach not playing 4213 or 352 since non of leao and pulisic is starting today’s game
Magnian
Walker thiaw gabbia
Musah fofana reinjders theo
Felix
Abraham Gimenez
So when we are defending it will be a 532
Give Musah another 1-2 years to mature and he will improve on his finishing and overall defense game. He’s still ONLY 22. Be patient.
Warren Bondo will add quality to our midfield and Fofana will be the one at risk of being dropped. Mark my words on that.
