Official: AC Milan and Inter invest in 4K system – will debut tomorrow

By Isak Möller -

After all of the recent postponements, AC Milan will finally be back in action tomorrow afternoon, taking on Genoa at the San Siro. Although there will be no fans, the stadium will have a new feature to present to the world.

According to the Rossoneri’s official website today, the two clubs have invested in a two-tier 4K system for the pitchside advertising board panels. This will be the first time that such a system has been used in the world.

As previously mentioned, we will get a first glimpse of the new boards during tomorrow’s clash between Milan and Genoa. Due to the standard broadcasting quality, the real difference will only be noticeable at the stadium.

The game will be played behind closed doors due to the recent Coronavirus outbreak in Italy. Therefore, it will be interesting to see how the players can get on without the support of the fans.
