Official: AC Milan vs. Cagliari starting XIs – Pioli makes two changes in attack

AC Milan’s final game of the season is just one hour away. This season has certainly been demanding, given the circumstances, and the Rossoneri will be looking to finish on a strong note. 

Stefano Pioli has decided to make just two changes to the starting eleven, keeping the usual core even though they have already secured their position in the standings. That being said, some of the youngsters might get a few minutes.

Ante Rebic is suspended and Rafael Leao will start in his place, looking to build on his goal last time out. Samu Castillejo will make his first start since returning from the injury, giving Alexis Saelemaekers some much-needed rest after playing a lot.

Other than that, though, the starting eleven will remain unchanged. As mentioned, sixth place has already been secured and fifth place is out of reach. Nevertheless, it’s always nice to end the season with a good performance.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma; Calabria, Kjaer, Gabbia, Hernandez; Kessie, Bennacer; Castillejo, Calhanoglu, Leao; Ibrahimovic.

Probable Cagliari XI (3-5-2): Cragno; Walukiewicz, Ceppitelli, Pisacane; Farago, Nandez, Ladinetti, Ionita, Mattiello; Paloschi, Simeone.
