Official: AC Milan’s XI for Juve clash – Pioli sticks with the 4-3-3

By Isak Möller -

With less than one hour to go until the kick-off of Juventus-Milan, Stefano Pioli has announced his starting eleven for the important game. Despite reports of a potential formation change, the manager has decided to stick with 4-3-3.

As a result of this, he will only make two changes to the line-up. Conti will start on the right flank instead of Calabria, who has failed to impress as of late. Furthermore, Suso is back from injury and will thus replace the injured Castillejo.

As was revealed by MilanNews.it, Kessie was left out of the squad due to disciplinary reasons. Therefore, Krunic will once again get the chance from start, after putting in an impressive performance against Lazio.

The classic trio of Suso, Piatek and Calhanoglu will form the attack. Up against a very solid defence, they will have to perform very well in order to get one past the goalkeeper. That said, the chances of getting a win are very slim.
