By Isak Möller -

Italian football is ready to get back up and running. Before resuming Serie A, however, Coppa Italia will be completed with just three games to go. Inter, Juventus, Milan and Napoli are still in the tournament.

The second legs of the two semi-finals, namely Juventus-Milan and Napoli-Inter, will be played slightly earlier than expected: 12th and 13th of June. In other words, the teams have just one more week to prepare for the resumption.

Vincenzo Spadafora, the Italian Minister of Sport, confirmed the news on his official Facebook profile. The change of dates will give the teams a bit more rest ahead of what will be a very intense schedule in the league.

“I asked that we could start again with Coppa Italia. The two semi-finals and the final, broadcasted by RAI, seen by all Italians. I’m happy to tell you that the two semifinals have also been brought forward to enable busy Serie A calendar afterwards.

“I can confirm that the first semifinal will be on June 12th, the second on the 13th and the final on the 17th,” he concluded, as cited by Calciomercato.com.

The Rossoneri’s manager, Stefano Pioli, has scheduled an in-house friendly for Saturday in order to prepare his players. According to Sky Italia (via Milanlive.it), it will give him a better understanding on which players he should field next week.
