Lucas Paqueta’s adventure at Milan has officially come to an end, one and a half year after joining the club. Lyon announced the arrival of the Brazilian midfielder just a few minutes ago.
The French side published an announcement video on their social media channels, confirming that they have locked Paqueta down until 2025. Milan will receive €20m (plus 15% from a future resale) as was confirmed by Lyon president Jean Michel-Aulas.
“Paquetá has signed a five-year contract. He already knows a few players in the squad. We are convinced that he will integrate quickly. He arrives for €20 million. It’s a good bit of business,” he stated.

The 23-year-old failed to make an impression at Milan and left the directors with no other choice but to sell him. Hopefully, the operation will fund a few signings for the Rossoneri on the market.
