AC Milan have two representatives inside the top 25 candidates for the Ballon d’Or as Mike Maignan and Rafael Leao made the list.
The Ballon d’Or will be awarded this evening and the favourite is Karim Benzema of Real Madrid, but before the first few places are revealed some of the positions leading up to it are published.

It has been confirmed that Mike Maignan has placed at number 25, which is a fantastic result for a player that was absolutely decisive in the Scudetto win last season with his incredible saves and his distribution.
Rafael Leao then comes in at 14th place as the Serie A MVP, having racked up double digits in goals and assists when taking into account games played in all competitions.
The hope is that next year they can place even higher and that they are joined by more Milan players among the top players in Europe.
