Official: Milan’s schedule as Serie A set dates for the remainder of the season

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan will soon be back in action. Coppa Italia is set to be resumed next week, with the Rossoneri facing Juventus, and now Lega Serie A have announced the dates for round 27-35.

The official schedule was released this evening by Serie A, while the dates for the last three rounds will be defined and communicated in the coming weeks. Milan will take on Lecce away from home on June 22, marking their league return.

As expected, there will be two games per week and this will certainly test the players physically. In other words, Stefano Pioli will have to rely on Milan’s depth as using the same starting eleven for every game is out of the question.

Currently in 7th place, Milan will look to improve their position and secure a spot in the Europa League. Champions League is 12 points away, making it virtually impossible. Take a look at the schedule down below.

Monday 22 June, 19.30: Lecce-Milan
Sunday 28 June, 17.15: Milan-Roma
Wednesday 1 July, 21.45: Spal-Milan
Saturday 4 July, 21.45: Lazio-Milan
Tuesday 7 July, 21.45: Milan-Juventus
Sunday 12 July, 21.45: Napoli-Milan
Wednesday 15 July, 19.30: Milan-Parma
Saturday 18 July, 21.45: Milan-Bologna
Tuesday 21 July, 21:45: Sassuolo-Milan
