Official: Pioli names 21-man squad for Udinese trip – Castillejo returns

By Isak Möller -

Ahead of tonight’s clash between AC Milan and Udinese, Stefano Pioli has announced his squad and there are a total of 21 players included. One of them is Samu Castillejo, who is finally back from injury.

The Spaniard has been out since the comeback against Hellas Verona in October and although the right-wing has decent depth now, he could be useful up front. Only Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Daniel Maldini, in fact, are listed as strikers.

GOALKEEPERS
Maignan, Mirante, Tătărușanu.

DEFENDERS
Ballo-Touré, Florenzi, Gabbia, Hernández, Kalulu, Romagnoli, Tomori.

MIDFIELDERS
Bakayoko, Bennacer, Castillejo, Díaz, Kessie, Krunić, Messias, Saelemaekers, Tonali.

FORWARDS
Ibrahimović, Maldini.

The game is scheduled for 20:45 CET tonight and it should be an interesting one. Milan got the job done last weekend with a 2-0 win against Salernitana but didn’t look as convincing in the mid-week clash against Liverpool.

And with the Scudetto race heating up, Milan will be looking to claim all three points tonight and thus keep their spot at the top of the standings. Hopefully, the squad listed above will get it done.
