Tuttosport: Origi aiming for Milan injury return by Empoli match

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan forward Divock Origi is aiming to be fit again by the time that the Rossoneri face Empoli at the beginning of October, a report claims.

As has been reported by Tuttosport today (via Milan News), the Belgian forward is working hard to try and get fit and make regular starts for his new team having joined in the summer on a free transfer from Liverpool.

He arrived at the club with an injury and just as it seemed he had recovered and was ready to make a regular contribution, he suffered another injury and will be uninvolved for a few more weeks.

The international break will provide a chance for him to work hard on getting fit whilst not missing any games for the Rossoneri and Stefano Pioli will be very keen to have him back in the picture for selection.

He may have played on the left against Napoli if he were fit given Rafael Leao is suspended.
