Tuttosport: Origi is working hard to be fit for Milan’s first game

By Euan Burns -

New signing Divock Origi is working hard to be fit in time for AC Milan’s first game of the new season against Udinese, a report claims.

As has been reported by Tuttosport (via Milan News), the former Liverpool striker is still undergoing his own personalised training program at Milanello as he seeks to recover from an injury.

The physical issue kept him out of contention for Liverpool’s Champions League final defeat against Real Madrid at the end of last season.

It is thought that he will return to full training with the rest of the squad at the beginning of August and that is when he will really start progressing towards the opening game of the new campaign.

The first game at San Siro against Udinese will come around very quickly as there are four games in August. That is due to the World Cup being held in November in Qatar meaning there is a different calendar.
