Pedulla: AC Milan outcast details away from joining Genoa in January

By Isak Möller -

Having completed the signing of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, AC Milan will now focus on some departures, looking to offload a few players to fund further operations on the transfer market. Fabio Borini is one of the players set to leave.

The versatile Italian hasn’t found much space this season, playing just 70 minutes so far across two appearances. Furthermore, these came in the first two rounds, which means he has been sitting on the bench since.

According to Alfredo Pedulla, he’s all set to move, being just details away from Genoa. New contacts between the parties took place in the last few hours, and the outcome was positive. In addition, no English clubs have enquired about the player.

As the journalist explained, a turning point was reached yesterday, while Borini himself said yes to the move a few days ago. Therefore, very little is missing to complete the transfer, which should materialize soon.
