Atalanta have enquired about AC Milan’s forward Lorenzo Colombo, who recently returned from a loan spell at Lecce. The youngster could be the replacement for Rasmus Hojlund, a report claims.
Atalanta are in advanced talks with Man Utd over Rasmus Hojlund and will need to find a replacement once the deal materialises. According to Alfredo Pedulla, the replacement could come from Milan in the shape of Lorenzo Colombo.
The Bergamo side have enquired about the player but are yet to decide if they should make a serious attempt for him or not, per the journalist. There have also been some inquiries from abroad for the 21-year-old, who scored five goals in the top flight last season.
Colombo came through the youth ranks at Milan and that means they could make a decent capital gain in the event of a sale. However, it remains to be seen if they are willing to let him leave permanently, with a loan looking more likely.
Colombo is currently in Los Angeles with the rest of the Milan squad for the pre-season tour, set to face Real Madrid, Juventus and Barcelona.
Sell for 20m with buyback clause.
No,no,no we need to keep our homegrown talent, we have barely any homegrown in the team and with Gabbia going on loan, we will have even less !!! Give him a chance to learn from giroud and be part of 1st team, he will never progress unless given a chance
Ask them how much discount they gonna give on Scalvini next summer 😀
Price for Colombo: 80% of what they make on Hojlund.
We are not a feeder club, our talents are expensive.
Use it to leverage on Scalvini
