Pedulla: Sassuolo star ‘will probably leave’ as Milan and Lazio express interest

Milan have already made two signings, Mike Maignan and Fikayo Tomori, but there is a lot more to come ahead of next season. One of the priorities is the right-wing role, as Samu Castillejo is expected to leave.

In recent weeks, and in today’s edition of Corriere Dello Sport (see here), the Rossoneri have been linked with Sassuolo star Domenico Berardi. The 26-year-old is ready to make the big leap in his career and is expected to leave this summer.

According to Alfredo Pedulla, Berardi will probably leave the Neroverdi this summer. The club CEO Giovanni Carnevali made it clear that he can’t hold the winger back anymore, hinting that an agreement on the transfer fee might not be that hard to get.

They do value the player at €40m, but a solution could be found on the formula or perhaps with technical counterparts. Milan and Lazio have both expressed their interest in the player recently. Stefano Pioli likes him a lot and even tried to sign him at Fiorentina.
