Gallery: ‘Assault on Berardi’, ‘Ilicic at Milan’ – Today’s front pages of Italian papers

Milan have been very active on the transfer market thus far and there’s still more to come for the club, seeing as reinforcements are needed. Today’s newspapers have focused on two potential attacking signings.

Corriere Dello Sport, on their front page, highlighted the Rossoneri’s interest in Domenico Berardi. The Sassuolo winger has been important for Italy and Stefano Pioli needs a new right-winger, with Samu Castillejo expected to leave.

“Assault on Berardi. For the Italy man, Leicester and Milan are moving,” the newspaper stated on the front page. In addition to the winger, the Rossoneri have also been linked with many playmakers.

Josip Ilicic is one of them and it seems he could leave Atalanta for Milan this summer. On their front page, Tuttosport focused on the matter. “Ilicic at Milan, Ibra is waiting for you. Atalanta look to Pobega”, they wrote.

They also shared an update on the future of Jens Petter Hauge, who could leave Milan on loan this summer. “Torino make an attempt for Hauge, Milan are open to a loan,” they wrote.

  1. Ilicic would be a very nice addition. Due to his age, probably restricted to a complimentary role, though. Still need someone else as a #10.
