Juventus' Italian coach Massimiliano Allegri

Pellegatti believes Fonseca will stay but suggests Allegri should be considered

Following the 2-1 defeat against Atalanta, AC Milan are effectively out of the Scudetto runnings, and Carlo Pellegatti has stated a move should be made.

There have been links to Massimiliano Allegri for months now, and whenever Paulo Fonseca’s job hangs in the balance, the name of the Italian is brought to life. Following Friday’s loss, the mill is going once again.

Everyone is unhappy with the situation at present, but the club are unwilling to make any changes at present it seems, with reports suggesting that no decisions are being made currently.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Pellegatti spoke about Allegri and the action Milan must take, and his words have been relayed by Pianeta Milan.

“Whoever comes to coach Milan must read and know Milan’s history. The Diavolo must dominate matches. They took Fonseca to dominate, but already against Juventus it didn’t show. He didn’t want to concede goals. Against Atalanta, Milan had started well, but even with Loftus-Cheek they must try to win the game.

“Fonseca will stay. But you don’t let him speak if you don’t agree with the terms he used, the club speaks. Milan cannot waste time against Atalanta. We also expect a still fluctuating performance. And the problem also lies with the club and the market: there is no alternative to Pulisic. And Fonseca has nothing to do there.

“What we need is an alternative: I’ll mention a name at random, Brahim Diaz. We don’t want to see a distorted Milan, the Rossoneri played like provincial players against Dea. It’s not Milan, I’d rather lose 4-0, but playing it.

“Fonseca will stay, but there is only one coach who could shake things up: Massimiliano Allegri. He would come tomorrow and he would already know the environment. Milan don’t even want to know.”

Despite cries from the media and the fans, it seems Milan will not make any changes to their head coach unless a Champions League spot becomes unreachable under Fonseca. A decision which will only cause frustration.

  1. Best way 2 fup this season even more is to hire this guy Allegri.
Idk when was the last time any club, anywere, wanted his sorry a*s. No serious club would or will hire him.

  2. How about hope for the best this season, and then go full force for Gasperini next season? We should probably also get Bellanova while we’re at it. And Scalvini and Retegui…. And Emerson. Easy peasy

  3. We’re played like a provincial side because we didn’t play to win against Juventus, and the answer is Allegri? LOL.

    1. That’s how it was under Capello and we dominated Serie A under him in the 1990s. I don’t care how we win. I just want to win and with the right players Allegri has proven he can win Serie A and also reach the champions league finals as he has done it twice with Juventus only to lose to Barcelona and Real Madrid who were phenomenal teams.

So a big yes to Allegri. I would take him over Sarri and all these other clowns like Terzic.

      1. fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuk no.. Allegri hasnt done jack shajt in the last juve stin.. you’d hire a coach who+s only merit is manageing juve in the era of absolute dominance. nobody oculd touch them. and not because of allegri btw. any half decent coach wouldve gotten those 5 titles..
Look at his results with juve in the last seasons. thats what you want in Milan.

Might as well hire Benitez. At least he has won the Cl unlike one bolding shirt ripping nose coach
