Franco Baresi has worked as an ambassador of AC Milan for many years now, continuing with the club of his heart. Earlier this week, he was promoted to honorary vice-president of AC Milan.
At Casa Milan today (see featured photo), Curva Sud celebrated the club legend’s new role with a banner which read: “From piscinin to honorary vice-president, the right tribute to the legendary captain”.

Baresi played 714 games for Milan and won a total of 21 trophies with the club, wearing the captain’s armband.
