Santiago Gimenez is just one step away from joining AC Milan, following intense negotiations with Feyenoord. As confirmed by the player on Instagram, he has left Rotterdam and is currently airborne.

Milan reached an agreement with Feyenoord earlier today, as expected, and the player – knowing the go-ahead was close – already had his bags packed. This afternoon, the Rossoneri sent a private jet to Rotterdam and as confirmed by Gimenez on Instagram, he has now taken off.

The striker published an image of the private jet and according to the data of Flightradar24, the flight took off at 17:12 local time. Gimenez is thus expected to arrive at Linate around 18:30 and will certainly be greeted by journalists at the airport.

Milan are up against Inter tomorrow in the Derby della Madonnina and although Gimenez won’t be in the squad, for obvious reasons, he will be in the stands to cheer on his new teammates. Hopefully, he will experience what would be a very important and exciting win.

    1. Fun facts.
Luca Romero who was just sold by us to join a Mexican team was actually born in Mexico due to his father playing there when he was born and can choose an international allegiance in between either Mexico, Argentina or Spain.
Gimenez was born in Argentina but chose to represent Mexico.

  1. It’s good we are spending money but Giminez will go down with the rest of the sinking ship. We need to remove the toxicity and bring back hard work and confidence. Leao and Theo need to be sold, while a player like Kessie needs to be bought for the Defensive midfield.

Morata, Okafor, etc would have done extremely well if the team had a different attitude. Giminez is not needed. This is an attitude and toxicity problem.
